The Organisation:
An Exporter, Producer and Wholesaler of wine and bottled carbonated drinks with its head office in Melbourne seeks a LABORATORY TECHNICIAN / QUALITY CONTROLLER in Kyneton.
The Purpose & Duties of the Role
Working directly with the Senior Winemaker; Quality Assurance Manager and Operations Team, your duties will include:
• Testing / lab analysis / micro testing of all production
• Develop & follow internal processes and procedures
• Perform start-up packaging line approvals & ongoing Quality Control checks.
• Confirm that both manufacturing/bottling meet the specifications for clients.
• Confirming the bottling line records to ensure that the setup is correct to prevent any complaints that could arise
Key Decision Making of the Role:
• Approving products to be bottled
• Approving incoming raw material
• Sensory Analysis
• Line start up approvals
Qualifications & Experience:
To Apply you Must Have:
• Formal Post Secondary Qualifications in Quality; Food Science or a related discipline
• Applicants will only be considered if they have a minimum of two years in a laboratory setting
• Preference given to those who have a background and experience in a laboratory setting in Beverage, wine or spirits
